JOB TITLE: Payroll AdministratorSALARY: £25,000HOURS: Full Time - PermanentSTRUCTURE: Office based - Flexible after probationLOCATION: StockportLooking for a career in payroll? We're seeking a Payroll Administrator to join a great business with progression. Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the processing of starters and leavers, ensuring accurate statutory deductions and third-party payments.
  • Update and process company Time & Attendance (T&A) systems.
  • Handle payroll processing for all staff using Payrite and Sage systems.
  • Distribute employee correspondence, including pay slips, P11Ds, and P60s.
  • Ensure full compliance with HMRC regulations.
  • Compile detailed monthly and yearly reports.
  • Assist with the reconciliation of expenses. 
Required Skills & Experience
  • Previous experience in a payroll-related role.
  • Strong knowledge of payroll processes and software.
  • Excellent prioritisation and organisational skills, with the ability to meet deadlines.
  • A keen eye for detail and accuracy.
  • Self-motivation, the ability to work independently, and a positive, ‘can do’ attitude.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • A commitment to maintaining discretion and confidentiality at all times.
