Your new companyAn international manufacturing company based in Stockport is looking to hire a project manager to oversee 3 critical upgrade and refurbishment projects on their main site in the region.Your new roleYou will take the lead on 3 projects from start to finish, ensuring they are completed on time, to specification, and within budget. A key responsibility will be to ensure the buildings remain fully compliant and safe for all staff on site throughout the duration of the project, with minimal disruption to the day-to-day function of the site. You will hold full financial responsibility for the projects, and be responsible for sourcing the specific layout requirements in line with the stakeholders requirements. The 3 projects include; 2 upgrade projects on site -critical buildings and a refurbishment of the front of house reception. Whilst reporting to the Head of Engineering, you will be expected to act autonomously throughout the projects. Due to the criticality of the projects, you will be expected to be on site for the majority of the contract.Key duties will include:- Complete project management from start to finish- Sourcing of equipment to site stakeholder specification- Ensuring all buildings remain safe and compliant throughout the projects- Ensuring that after handover of projects, buildings are in line with the latest Building Services, FM and H&S regulations- Hold financial responsibility for the projectsWhat you'll need to succeed- Experience in project management in an FM or building services capacity (performing building upgrades and office refurbishments)- Experience working in an industrial or manufacturing environment- DBS check is required- Ability to work autonomously whilst maintaining the highest standards- Knowledge of building services and FM H&S regulationsWhat you'll get in return- 12-month contract- Salary negotiable - 50k - 90k Pro rata DOEWhat you need to do nowIf you're interested in this role, click 'apply now' to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV, or call us now.If this job isn't quite right for you, but you are looking for a new position, please contact us for a confidential discussion about your career.
