Quantity Surveyor

Job Specification: Quantity Surveyor Location: StockportOverview:We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Quantity Surveyor who can ideally also undertake estimating duties to join our team in Stockport. This role involves working on new build and fit-out projects with a diverse range of clients. An immediate start is preferred.Key Responsibilities:Quantity Surveying:Manage costings and contracts for new build and fit-out projects.Prepare and analyze project budgets and forecasts.Perform risk management and cost control.Conduct site visits and valuations.Handle final account settlements.Estimating:Undertake estimating duties as needed, preparing detailed and accurate cost estimates.Assist in the preparation of tender documents.Work closely with the pre-construction team to ensure accurate pricing.Client Interaction:Work with both existing and new clients to understand their needs and deliver successful projects.Maintain strong client relationships to secure repeat business.Key Clients:NHSRetail/Food Retail clients (mostly drive-throughs)Automotive/Car Show Room and Dealership clientsProject Details:Projects range in value, with drive-through projects typically around £1 million.Sites are primarily located in the North West.Qualifications and Skills:Experience in both quantity surveying and estimating.Proven track record in new build and fit-out projects.Strong analytical and numerical skills.Excellent communication and negotiation skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Familiarity with construction software and Excel.Salary and Benefits:Salary up to £60,000 DOE25 days holiday plus Bank HolidaysCar or Car AllowancePension schemeHealthcare benefitsAdditional company benefitsTime Recruitment Solutions Ltd is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy.
