Job Title: Logistics Coordinator

Salary: Up to £29,000 DOE

Location: Bredbury

Elevation are working with a successful manufacturing company who are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Logistics Coordinator to join their team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing the import and export processes, ensuring efficient movement of goods while adhering to all regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities of the Logistics Coordinator:

  • Arranging transport and ensuring customer deliveries arrive on time
  • Coordinate and manage the end-to-end export process, including documentation, customs clearance, and shipment tracking
  • Prepare and process export documentation, such as invoices, packing lists, and certificates of origin
  • Ensure documentation meets customer and HMRC requirements
  • Liaising with freight forwarders to arrange cost effective shipments
  • Maintaining regular communication with customers and relevant internal departments 
  • Coordinating movement of goods including exporting 

Requirements of the Logistics Coordinator:

  • Proven administration skills with a keen attention to detail
  • Knowledge of various shipping methods, including road, airfreight, sea freight, and courier services
  • Familiarity with import/export procedures and compliance regulations
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment is highly desirable
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
