Job Title: Transport & Collections Coordinator
Location: Newton Heath, Manchester
Salary: £25,000.00 to £28,000 per annum
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:30 PM.


We are seeking a Transport Collections Coordinator to join our expanding team. This role involves a combination of customer service and administrative tasks, and we are looking for a candidate with strong computer skills, particularly in Excel and PowerPoint. Experience with SAGE Accounts is a plus but not essential.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and organise day-to-day routes for drivers.
  • Communicate effectively with the production team.
  • Handle site paperwork and customer communications.
  • Manage transport maintenance for four vehicles, including weekly vehicle checks.
  • Maintain driver records, including working hours.
  • Process collections throughout the day and ensure customer KPIs are met.
  • Coordinate collections from multiple locations and manage orders with third-party hauliers.
  • Build and maintain relationships with hauliers, ensuring KPIs are followed.
  • Organise product transfers between company sites.
  • Generate monthly reports for customers and senior management.
  • Support the accounts team during month-end closures and assist with daily input functions.
  • Place site orders when necessary.

  • Ability to manage a dynamic and changing transport schedule.
  • General business acumen and conscientiousness.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to follow procedures accurately.
  • Strong time management and reliability.
  • Comfortable working under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
