Job Description for a Property Manager

  • Maintaining and developing landlord and tenant relationships
  • Addressing tenant complaints, conducting inspections, contracting repairs, and enforcing rules of occupancy
  • Support community engagement activities and initiatives to enhance the property’s cultural and business profile.
  • Working with senior team to ensure practices remain compliant
  • Overseeing tenant moves alongside coordination of leases and agreements
  • Reviewing rents and negotiating increases/reductions in line with market values
  • Maintaining accurate records of site operations, tenant activities, maintenance work, and improvement projects
  • Development and overseeing of ongoing improvement initiatives, including upgrades to communal areas, utilities, and other site features

Job skills required for a Property Manager

  • RICS membership (Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors)
  • Comprehensive knowledge of building management systems, remedial works, and compliance requirements
  • Effective communicator
  • Proven experience in managing multi-tenanted properties, commercial buildings, or similar
  • Highly organised with good time management
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Computer literate including Microsoft Office and in particular Excel
  • Self-motivated and career driven
  • Proactive with excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Must be a driver and have own car

Bachelor’s degree in facilities management, construction, business administration, or a related field preferred.
