Job Description for a Property Manager
- Maintaining and developing landlord and tenant relationships
- Addressing tenant complaints, conducting inspections, contracting repairs, and enforcing rules of occupancy
- Support community engagement activities and initiatives to enhance the property’s cultural and business profile.
- Working with senior team to ensure practices remain compliant
- Overseeing tenant moves alongside coordination of leases and agreements
- Reviewing rents and negotiating increases/reductions in line with market values
- Maintaining accurate records of site operations, tenant activities, maintenance work, and improvement projects
- Development and overseeing of ongoing improvement initiatives, including upgrades to communal areas, utilities, and other site features
Job skills required for a Property Manager
- RICS membership (Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors)
- Comprehensive knowledge of building management systems, remedial works, and compliance requirements
- Effective communicator
- Proven experience in managing multi-tenanted properties, commercial buildings, or similar
- Highly organised with good time management
- Ability to work under pressure
- Computer literate including Microsoft Office and in particular Excel
- Self-motivated and career driven
- Proactive with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Must be a driver and have own car
Bachelor’s degree in facilities management, construction, business administration, or a related field preferred.
