BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER / STOCKPORT / UP TO £35,000 PER ANNUM D.O.E.

We are seeking a dynamic Business Development Manager to expand our market presence and drive sales across our technology service lines. This role is perfect for a target-driven, self-motivated individual with a strong background in B2B sales.

The successful candidate will spend approximately 80% of their time working from the office, with opportunities to visit clients in person to solidify relationships and close deals once the sales pipeline is established. You will also be required to sit regular teams’ meetings with prospective clients. Experience in selling Business to Business mobiles and telephony is desirable but not essential.

Key Responsibilities of the Business Development Manager:

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships.
  • Effectively communicate the value proposition of our services through proposals and presentations.
  • Understand category-specific landscapes and trends, reporting on the forces that shift tactical budgets and strategic direction of accounts.
  • Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market.

Skills & Experience:

  • Proven B2B sales experience, preferably in selling technology services like Docuware, mobile solutions, hosted telephony, and managed print services.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the aptitude to build relationships with executives.
  • Driven and self-motivated with a proven track record of achieving sales quotas.
  • Familiarity with CRM software and sales management tools.
  • High Level Diploma / A Levels or bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field is preferred.
