Are you looking for a new opportunity for September? Vision are working with a client school in Stockport to appoint an enthusiastic and driven English teacher.

About the role

The purpose of the English role is to provide engaging and outstanding teaching whilst nurturing a safe educational environment. The successful candidate will teach Key stage 3 and Key stage 4 students and will demonstrate experience in achieving positive outcomes for pupils. You will be supported by a fantastic English department.

Requirements

To be considered for the role of English Teacher you will:

  • A degree-level qualification and Qualified Teacher Status
  • Experience of sustained delivery of outstanding attainment and achievement
  • Experience of innovation and creativity to engage, enthuse and progress learners
  • Higher-level education qualification in English
  • The ability to teach to GCSE standard
  • Strong behaviour management
  • Able to engage students.
  • Able to provide feedback to students to support progress in their learning.

Salary

£700 to £950 per week

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
