Bramhall Golf Club Deputy House Manager

Bramhall Golf Club is a modern private members club located on the outskirts of Stockport, south of Manchester and is known as one of the finest parkland courses in all of Cheshire. The club has a packed competition diary for all membership classes and is well known as one of the friendliest clubs in the area. We also cater for external functions, ranging from business networking to wedding receptions.
We are currently looking to recruit a Deputy House Manager to work as part of a small team within our modern clubhouse & function facilities. Bramhall GC promotes afriendly, welcoming environment,which allows for a great atmosphere to work within!
You will work alongside the House Manager to facilitate and drive the high standards expected within the clubhouse, exceed expectations as part of the members experience and to help deliver a wide range of functions, ranging from large banquets to celebration parties such as weddings, birthdays etc.
Responsibilities will include;
- Working as part of a team to drive a friendly, welcoming culture in relation to service and to be responsible for delivering high standards within the members clubhouse
- Working alongside the House Manager to ensure all function guests enjoy the best possible guest experience
- Duty manager responsibilities whilst running functions & events
- Maintaining a friendly and motivated environment at all times
- Driving industry health & safety standards
- Opening and closing duties, including the closing on weekend functions
- Securing company cash and helping maintain good stock levels
The ideal candidate will be;
- from an ideal level of bar/restaurant/hospitality experience
- someone who has passion for delivering quality and driving standards
- Bring a level of industry knowledge to help develop the business internally
- able to work as part of a harmonious team
- able to lead in the House Managers absence
A basic understanding on how a private members golf club operates/an understanding of golf will be advantageous.
Working days are 5 over 7, with shift patterns being varied based on the business needs. Contracted hours are an average of 40 hours per week. The role works alongside the golfing and events calendar, with weekends and evenings being core times. Summertime is considered peak working, with winter being less so, offering a structured work/life balance.
