Secondary Learning Support Assistant  

Location: Stockport

Salary Scale:  £18,500 to £22,000

Start Date: Easter

GSL Education are supporting a secondary school in Stockport who need a Learning Support Assistant to start in April 2025 through to the end of the academic year.

This is working at a Good secondary school that has an excellent reputation in the local area. You’ll be working in an excellent provision, supporting pupils with special educational needs, ensuring they are staying on task and can access all lesson materials.

The key responsibilities include:

• Learning Development

• Education support

• Social & behavioural development

• Pupil Supervision

 

If you’re experienced working with young people and believe you can motivate young people, we encourage you to apply. We have previously placed people from Youth Work backgrounds, sports coaches and psychology graduates as they have all gained experienced in working with young people in formal settings that have transferable skills to the role of learning support assistant.
