Randstad are recruiting for a Qualified Social Worker to join Stockport Council's Children with Disabilities Team. This is a full time role, offering an amazing pay rate of 37 per hour.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage a caseload of children and young people with disabilities, ensuring their needs are met through assessments and care planning.
  • Work closely with health, education, and multi-agency partners to provide a coordinated approach.
  • Undertake safeguarding investigations and ensure children are protected under CIN, CP, and LAC plans.
  • Support families by providing advice, guidance, and access to short breaks and direct payments.
  • Facilitate smooth transitions into adult services, working alongside Adult Social Care teams.
  • Attend multi-agency meetings, reviews, and court proceedings where required.

Requirements:

  • Social Work Degree or equivalent
  • Enhanced DBS
  • Social Work England registered

Experience:

  • Children
