Randstad are recruiting for a Qualified Social Worker to join Stockport Council's Adult REaCH Reablement Service. This is a full time role offering a great pay rate of 30 per hour.

Responsibilities:

  • To work within a reablement team/ service to monitor service users progress and assess any ongoing needs.
  • To hold a case load, cases will be held short term.
  • To monitor, prioritise and review your case load.
  • To adhere to council policies.
  • To complete assessments under the Care Act 2014.
  • To complete formal mental capacity assessments when required.
  • Respond to statutory and non-statutory safeguarding concerns.
  • To give information and advice and signpost to other agencies/ services.
  • To work within a small social work team and support other colleagues.
  • To attend team meetings and any appropriate training.
  • To network with other professionals and multi-agency working. To be confident in working with people living with risk and be flexible, resilient and creative.
  • Work with people in a person-centred way to maximise their strengths and assets
  • Contribute Social Work expertise to the wider Multi-Disciplinary Team/ REaCH service, to support SW apprentices, support with shadowing on visits.

Requirements:

  • Social Work Degree or equivalent
  • Social Work England registered
  • Enhanced DBS

Experience:

  • Adults
  • Knowledge of Adult Law
