The Supply Register are proud to be working as a managed service provider on behalf of Prospere Learning Trust. We are working with Grange School, who are looking for experienced SEN Teaching Assistants to join their team. The ideal candidate will have vast experience in supporting students with additional needs, have a good understanding of the Primary and Secondary curriculum, and is able to manage behaviour and keep students on track with their learning.

The School work with the students from Primary ages, right up to GCSE levels of education. All pupils have autism and learning difficulties

If you have a broad knowledge on supporting students with additional needs, please keep reading.We can offer a variety of work, short term, long term and day to day. This is an excellent opportunity to join the trust’s Bank Staff to gain frequent daily work across both general cover and subject specific. We offer a variety of CPD which you can access through our website e.g. Safeguarding, Prevent, SEN and many more. 

 

Requirements:

  • A passion for working with SEN pupils within a specialist provision
  • A willingness to learn every step of the way  
  • To have an engaging teaching style  
  • Always ensuring you have high standards of teaching and learning  
  • The ability to work well as part of a team and independently  
  • To care about your work and do the best for your students  

 

To be eligible for this role you must:  

  • Have previous experience in working within a SEN provision ot with challenging pupils.
  • Hold proof of right to work in the UK  
  • Hold an enhanced DBS (adult and child) registered on the update service or be willing to apply for a new one  
  • Provide 2 references to cover the last 24 months, minimum
