Senior Estimator – Fit-Out

Salary: Up to £70,000
About the Company:
- We are working with a growing and dynamic fit-out and refurbishment contractor based in Stockport, delivering high-quality commercial, retail, and leisure projects across the UK. With a growing portfolio of prestigious clients and a reputation for excellence, they are now looking to strengthen their commercial team with a talented Senior Estimator.
The Role:
- As a Senior Estimator, you will play a key role in the pre-construction process, working closely with the commercial and project teams to deliver competitive, accurate, and winning tenders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for fit-out and refurbishment projects up to £10m
- Review tender documents, drawings, and specifications
- Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers
- Identify risks, opportunities, and value engineering solutions
- Prepare BOQs and tender submission documents
- Attend site visits and pre-tender meetings as required
- Support and mentor junior estimators when needed
About You:
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and pricing
- Excellent analytical and negotiation skills
- Proficient with estimating software and Microsoft Office
- Confident communicator, both written and verbal
- Detail-oriented with a proactive approach
