Travel consultant

Retail Travel consultant :An excellent opportunity has arisen to join an independent Retail travel agent as a senior Travel Consultant, based in the suburbs of Stockport. You will be selling holidays to customers for worldwide holidays and trips, Face to face in a retail travel shop and lovely town. Salary is between £25,000-£28,000 basic, depending on experience plus bonus and some incentives. The successful candidate will have previous travel sales experience, and excellent worldwide holiday destination knowledge.As a Senior Retail Travel consultant you will:

• Sell holidays face to face and over the phone ranging from short breaks to Mediterranean to cruising holidays and worldwide
• Up sell additional extras and suggest those that complement the customers package
• Switch selling of sold out destinations or holidays
• Tailor make packages to the clients needs

Senior Retail Travel consultant Skills required:

• Travel sales experience, having worked for a Travel company previously
• Target driven and determination to succeed
• Excellent telephone manner with excellent customer service
• Ability and experience of dealing with a range of customers and clients

Other info:

• 4 days a week maybe considered
• No weekend work or evenings
• No bank holidays
• 9am - 5.30pm Monday to Friday
• Great office atmosphere
• Bonus and incentives available
