KPJ Group is currently recruiting for a Welding Technician to join a leading engineering company based in Stockport.
This is a great opportunity to play a vital role in enhancing welding quality standards, providing proactive support to the manufacturing teams, and contributing to the development of welding procedures and training.

What will you be doing as a Welding Technician?
- Supporting the Welding Co-ordinator with daily welding activities
- Conducting internal welder audits and helping address welding-related non-conformance reports (NCRs)
- Assisting in developing welding procedure specifications (WPS) for new and legacy products
- Monitoring welding processes to ensure compliance with standards
- Providing guidance and support to welders, ensuring high-quality standards are maintained
- Collaborating with the production engineering team on welding changes
- Supporting ISO 3834 management systems and welding qualification testing
What do you need?
- CSWIP 3.0 qualified or willing to progress to this level
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Knowledge of welding processes such as MIG, MAG, TIG, and mechanised welding systems
- Experience with ISO 3834 standards and technical drawings
