As they continue to grow, they are looking for a skilled and proactive Financial Controller to join their team.

Role Overview:

As the Financial Controller, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing all aspects of the company's financial operations. This includes financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and compliance, ensuring that the business remains financially healthy and fully compliant with relevant regulations. You will work closely with the senior management team to provide strategic financial insight and support the company’s growth ambitions.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Reporting and Analysis.

Manufacturing Accounts - Reporting movements in stock, finished goods and work in progress.

Monthly Balance Sheet Reconciliations.

Budgeting and Forecasting.

Cash Flow Management and Treasury.

Oversee accounts payable and receivable functions to ensure timely payments and collections.

Maintain strong relationships with key financial institutions.

Credit Risk.

Compliance and Regulatory Reporting.

Team Management and Development.

Strategic Financial Support.

Skills & Experience

ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent qualified accountant with significant post-qualification experience.

Proven experience in financial management and controlling within a manufacturing or automotive environment, ideally in vehicle conversions or similar industries.

Strong understanding of financial accounting principles, regulatory requirements, and best practices.

Excellent financial analysis skills with the ability to communicate complex financial data to non-financial stakeholders.

Experience with financial software and systems (e.g., Sage or similar).

Strong Excel skills for financial modelling, forecasting, and reporting.

Demonstrated leadership ability, with experience managing a team and driving financial performance.

Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, growing business environment.
