In this office-based role, you'll report directly to the Financial Controller of a global business with UK revenues exceeding £100m. The Role

In this role, you'll be responsible for delivering key business reports within set deadlines, ensuring that financial results are not only accurate but also actionable. You'll provide critical financial and decision support services, including monthly, quarterly, and annual reports, while tracking any variances to guide business decisions.

You'll play a leading role in the budgeting process, forecasting, and managing both the annual and medium-term financial plans. Additionally, you will manage capital expenditure accounting, tracking costs, managing project proposal documentation, and overseeing post-completion reports. By working closely with the shared service centre, you'll help optimise business processes and controls to drive greater efficiency.

In addition, you'll support the financial management of the UK plant's assets, ensuring accurate asset register management, and maintain stock accuracy by participating in physical inventory verifications at various sites.

To succeed in this role, you will have a solid finance background, ideally with experience in a manufacturing environment. You may be part-qualified in CIMA or a similar qualification, but we also welcome applicants who consider themselves qualified through experience. Strong Excel skills are essential, and experience with SAP or a similar ERP system would be a significant advantage.

You'll have a strong analytical mindset and be experienced in costing, forecasting, and budgeting, with the ability to provide insightful financial analysis and guidance.
