Are you an experienced Accounts professional seeking a new opportunity? My client is hiring an Assistant Accountant to join their finance team in Stockton-on-Tees on a full-time, permanent basis. In this role, you will manage daily financial operations and provide support to the wider finance team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Processing invoices on Sage
- Managing Sales Ledger and Purchase Ledger
- Conducting bank reconciliations
- Handling weekly and monthly payroll
- Assisting with monthly accounts preparation
- Preparing financial statements
- Completing VAT returns
- Supporting the Financial Controller with administrative duties and yearly accounts preparation
Essential Skills:
- Strong Excel skills
- Experience with Sage
- Proven experience in Accounts
Additional information:
- Hours: 8am-5pm (42.5 hours per week)
