Our client has a requirement for an Environmental Coordinator, who will be required to work on a contract basis in Teesside.

This role will be working on the prestigious NZT project in Teesside, contributing to key environmental initiatives.

Role Purpose:

  • Implement and oversee Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) management systems.
  • Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and promote sustainable practices across project sites.

Job Role Responsibilities:

  • Drive awareness and adherence to the HSE Management System.
  • Coordinate Environmental Management Plans and issue permits as required.
  • Manage environmental issues at project sites and promote sustainability initiatives.
  • Collaborate with certification bodies to maintain ISO 14001 compliance.

Experience / Skills / Knowledge / Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in HSE management and environmental compliance.
  • Familiarity with ISO 14001 and environmental management systems.
  • Strong ability to develop training and awareness programs.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
