We are currently looking for a skilled CNC Operator to join our team. As a CNC Operator, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining computer numerical control (CNC) machines to produce high-quality parts and components.

Must be able to work 3 shifts, shift allowance is payable when working backs 15% and nights 20%

The person

ï‚· Flexbile attitude towards job rotation and further training is essential.

ï‚· Previous experience working on a dress machine would be beneficial but not essential.

ï‚· Previous experience working within the manufacturing sector would be beneficial but

not essential.

ï‚· Previous experience operating handheld tools would be beneficial but not essential.

ï‚· Previous experience using engineering drawings would be beneficial but not essential.

ï‚· Previous welding experience would be beneficial but not essential.

ï‚· Effective communicator capable of two-way communication.

ï‚· A team player being able to work together to achieve targets and meet deadlines.

ï‚· Confident in identifying business improvements and effectively communicating ideas.

ï‚· Proactive mindset and an ability to work on individual tasks.

ï‚· A safety conscious attitude working towards the 5S methodology and the 5 Why

methodology.

ï‚· Comfortable asking for assistance when needed in order to achieve good outputs.

ï‚· Quality focused and comfortable raising quality concerns or queries.

ï‚· Good attention to detail.

ï‚· NVQ Level 3 in Engineering or similar discipline is essential.

Job role

ï‚· Operating fanuc robots.

ï‚· Following part set up sheets.

ï‚· Using hand tools such as pin grinders/ angle grinders.

ï‚· Completion of daily operation, TPM (total preventative/ production maintenance) and

pre-operation check sheets.

ï‚· Documentation completion.

ï‚· Manual handling tasks.

ï‚· Following engineering drawings.

ï‚· Weld repairs.

ï‚· Inspect quality of parts to maintain high standards.

 Inspect all equipment to ensure it’s in a safe working condition.

ï‚· Supervise the machines while they execute the tasks and make any necessary

adjustments to produce a better result.

ï‚· Check and maintain machinery daily to ensure functionality.
