Our clients are a leading provider of temporary services to the Construction Industry. They are looking to recruit an experienced Contracts Manager to join their team in the Northeast.

As a Contracts Manager, your day-to-day duties will include:

  • Organising and management of temporary site services, electrical and mechanical projects within a construction environment.
  • Ensuring works are completed in line with the health and safety policy.
  • Procurement of labour, materials and plant to complete site-based activities.
  • Value engineering of existing projects to maximise margins.
  • Preparation of risk assessments and method statements.
  • Manage all day-to-day operational aspects of the project.
  • Regular internal reviews of projects with the Commercial team.
  • Regular site visits / inspections.
  • Building on existing relationships with client base to help secure additional works.
  • Prepare and submit costs for additional works with the specification of the client and the technical expertise of the company.
  • Able to mentor and develop the existing team of staff and operatives.

Essential Skills:

  • Previous electrical experience
  • Good understanding of the electrical test and inspection procedures.
  • Ability to deliver a project on time and within budget.
  • Take ownership of your projects and deal with any operational problems professional and efficiently.
  • Good numerical skills
  • Experience of large projects
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Live within commuting distance to Eaglescliffe.
