Marine Electrical Field Service Engineer - Permanent Position (UK-Based Applicants Only)

About the Role
In this role, you will be integral to our client's marine and offshore services team, responsible for:
- Diagnosing and repairing main and auxiliary systems, from engine rooms to bridges, including high-power generation, switch gear, propulsion, and navigation.
- Procuring spare parts, scheduling service work, and planning maintenance.
- Handling planned maintenance, upgrades, retrofits, and system overhauls.
- Commissioning and configuring new and upgraded systems.
- Modifying existing installations to meet evolving standards.
- Collaborating closely with the design team to deliver innovative solutions in marine propulsion, auxiliary plant systems, offshore production, and mission equipment.
- Mentoring and training other team members as needed.
What You'll Need to Succeed
- Previous experience as an ETO or similar role on ships.
- Strong expertise in troubleshooting, servicing, repair, retrofit, and commissioning of shipboard electrical, automation, and navigation systems.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a commitment to exceptional customer service.
- Self-motivated, safety-oriented, and detail-driven.
- IT proficiency, along with solid planning and organisational abilities.
- Full UK driving license and the ability to drive company vehicles.
