The Brief:

As a Senior within a larger finance team you will be capable of taking ownership of a portfolio of SME and OMB clients to deliver their year end accounts within budget and to deadline. You will nurture client relationships to establish a trusting and loyal base, all with the support from your Manager.

The Role:

You will be producing more complex annual statutory accounts for clients while starting to offer advice on best practice and recommendations for partner review. Assisting more junior members of the team, you will get to mentor their development at the same time as receiving mentorship for your own career journey.

You will see your line management skills develop, experience with managing budgets and your own chargeable time grow and increase your awareness of utilisation for you and the junior members of the team.

Experience Required:

  • Applicants will be qualified ACA/ACCA/CA and consideration will also be given to part qualified finalists.
  • Experienced to be able to independently complete year end statutory accounting under IFRS and UK GAAP
  • Previous UK accountancy firm experience
  • Ambitious and keen to continue with your learning journey
  • Developing client management skills and able to communicate with people at all levels.
  • Experienced with a range of accounting software systems
  • Eligible to work in the UK without the need for sponsorship or a Visa.
