Hays HR is delighted to be supporting a new client on the recruitment of an HR & Payroll Service Manager on a permanent basis, located in Stockton. This is an excellent opportunity for an HR professional who would like to grow their network and personal brand while supporting organisations in an HR Consultancy environment.

The role is based on-site with travel around the Tees Valley region, there is a car park on-site for free and the role offers a competitive salary for the position. Your new roleWithin your new role, you will work closely with the Head of HR to provide outsourced support to their growing client base as well as networking across the region.

Responsibilities include:

  • Supporting on Employee Relation matters, providing support and guidance
  • Review and improve policies, procedures and practices
  • Support the outsourced HR function for clients
  • Support on the delivery and implementation of HR projects
  • Prepare and manage payroll services
  • Lead on talent development
  • Reviewing contracts of employment
  • Support portfolio growth

What you'll need to succeed

  • Experience working in an HR environment
  • Confidence in your own HR ability to grow and develop through networking and building your own personal brand
  • Good communication skills and excellent attention to detail
  • CIPD L.5 qualified
  • Competent with Microsoft 365 package
