Sterling Recruitment Services are currently looking to recruit an experienced Production Manager for our client based in Stockton on Tees.

An excellent opportunity to join a fast growing business, with a clear progression plan of moving up to Production Director.

Previous experience within bespoke manufacturing is desirable however not essential.

Managing a team of 10 direct reports and 60 indirect reports.
Managing 3 on-site production facilities and warehouse

Responsibilities
Planning:Create production schedules and plans, ensuring the production team is aware of any potential or upcoming changed to plans
Budgeting: Working closely with the Sales & Accounts teams to estimate costs andnegotiate budgets
Quality control:Set and maintain quality standards, monitor production, and implement quality control programs.Monitoring productivity rates, standards and quality control
Health and safety:The production manager will be responsible for Health & Safety across the site.
Staff management:Train and develop staff, implementing realistic training and progression plans
Communication:Liaise with buyers, marketing, sales, and other teams
Equipment maintenance:Working closely with the on-site Maintenance Engineer to ensure there is PPM measures in place and any breakdowns are dealt with in a timely manner.
Procurement:Work with suppliers to obtain parts, raw materials, and other resources
Reporting:This role is reporting directly in to the Owner of the business, and weekly meetings will be held with management to discuss progress.

This role is working day shift Monday to Friday, with flexibility required in peak production periods.
