- Plan and conduct monthly quality audits on fee earners to verify compliance with regulations and accreditation requirements.
- Perform risk assessments and evaluate internal controls, reporting any discrepancies.
- Maintain a quality log for all audits, identifying trends and training needs.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to calibrate audits, implement best practices, and enhance performance.
- Analyse historical data to develop quality improvement initiatives and strategies.
- Evaluate audit findings and facilitate the implementation of corrective actions in conjunction with supervisors.
- Manage firm-wide performance through effective communication and contributions to team meetings.
- Interpret regulatory requirements and quality standards, ensuring compliance.
- Conduct both random and focused audits in a timely manner.
- Prepare comprehensive quality reports for presentation to senior management, including all necessary documentation.
- Experience in a regulated environment, preferably within the legal sector.
- Knowledge and understanding of AML is essential.
