Stafforce are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Quality Inspector to join our clients production team. The successful candidate will play an integral role in ensuring that products are manufactured to the highest quality standards, in compliance with BS EN 9001 standards. As a Quality Inspector, you will provide advice, guidance, and training to the production team, ensuring manufacturing procedures are strictly followed and quality is maintained throughout the production process.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspection & Quality Control: Perform regular inspections of production processes, components, and finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
  • Advisory & Training: Provide advice, guidance, and on-the-job training to the production team to ensure adherence to quality control standards and manufacturing procedures.
  • Internal Audits: Carry out internal audits to assess compliance with company procedures and BS EN 9001 quality standards, documenting findings and proposing corrective actions when necessary.
  • Process Improvement: Identify areas for improvement in production quality and collaborate with the team to implement solutions.
  • Reporting & Documentation: Maintain accurate inspection records, report on quality issues, and assist in the preparation of quality reports for management review.
  • Customer Service Focus: Ensure products meet customer specifications and quality expectations, acting as a key point of contact for any quality-related concerns.
  • Compliance: Ensure all activities are performed in accordance with relevant quality assurance standards, regulations, and safety protocols.


Minimum Qualifications and Skills:

  • Experience: At least 5 years of previous experience in a quality inspection role, preferably within welding, fabrication, or a related manufacturing environment.
  • Technical Knowledge: Strong background in welding and fabrication inspection procedures, including knowledge of welding techniques, materials, and inspection tools.
  • Communication Skills: Effective oral and written communication skills, with the ability to train and communicate quality standards clearly to production staff.
  • Organization: Strong ability to manage and prioritize tasks effectively, ensuring deadlines are met while maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Internal Audits: Experience in conducting internal audits, reporting findings, and recommending corrective actions.
