TOOLSETTER (FACTORY 2)

Purpose:

To provide a technical service to support the ongoing needs of the manufacturing department within Nifco UK Limited. The main purpose of the role being to efficiently carry out tool changes to support production plans and assist the cell.

Main Duties:

Carry out tool changes effectively based on the relevant production plan.

Ensure Raw Materials and ancillary equipment in prepared in line with tool change/production plan.

Ensure all manufacturing equipment is set up to produce an efficient and capable production run.

Assist the Cell Leader/Technician to maximise machine utilisation, production efficiency and product quality.

Work with other members of staff to investigate problems and identify root causes, support the implementation of solution to prevent reoccurrences.

Communicate affectively to other shifts and support areas.

Cover other shifts if required and display necessary flexibility.

Ensure standardised processes are followed.

Practice good health and safety/5s and adhere to procedures.

To carry out any other relevant duties as required by the business.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

Essential

Practically minded / mechanical aptitude.

Excellent timekeeping and attitude.

Flexibility due to shift work.

Working Hours

Monday to Thursday = 6am-2pm / 2pm-10pm and 10pm-6am

Friday = 6am-1pm / 1pm-8pm / 8pm-3am
