This well - established construction consultancy firm is seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their talented infrastructure team in Stockton - on- Tees. You will be on site working with your team on a range of major projects across the infrastructure and energy and oil and gas sectors!

Responsibilities of the Senior Quantity Surveyor:

Deliver cost planning and estimation across the lifecycle of your projects.

Produce estimates and budget reviews across a wide range of sectors.

Gather, analyse, and define client and stakeholder needs.

Develop Analysis and Benchmarking Reports to promote value for money and identify trends and cost drivers.

Ensure reported data is accurate and kept up to date.

Champion innovation both within the organisation and on the client side.

Work on site and report to Site Lead.

Support or lead tool development integrating data, dashboards, and outputs for unit cost analysis.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement.

Requirements of the Senior Quantity Surveyor:

Qualified in quantity surveying or another construction related field.

Experience in commercial roles and functions within large capital programmes.

Chartership with the RICS or other professional body would be ideal.

Infrastructure and Petro Chemical experience.

NEC contract experience.

Strong communication, collaboration, and teamwork skills.

Excellent stakeholder management and client-facing attributes.

Strong analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving capabilities.

Commercial focus, shaping investment decisions based on value for money.

Effective workload planning and prioritisation, with the ability to present information clearly to stakeholders at all levels.
