Empowering Learning require several behaviour support mentors to work 1-1 with social, emotional and mental health students in several settings such as SEN schools, alternative provisions and Pupil referral units across the Teesside area.
It is paramount that the succeesful applicant can work 5 days Monday to Friday 8.00am to 16.00pm for the continuity of the students due the trauma and attachment disorders that some of these students have.

The individual will be-
Calm and resilient
SEMH experience and able to descalate behaviours that challenges- Team teach would be an asset- but training can be provided
To develop 1:1 mentoring relationship with identified students
Working directly with individuals and small groups to raise self esteem of the students with a view to improve their social and personal skills
To motivate, engage and be a role model for the students
DBS on the update service or willing to apply for one
