Our client who operates in Stoke-on-Trent are looking to bring on a talented Accounts Assistant into their experienced team. This organisation have their eyes set on an intuitive and proactive individual. They are looking for someone who has experience working on both the purchase ledger and sales ledger, and someone who is confident when liaising with a multitude of stakeholders.

In this position you will be completing tasks such as processing invoices and completing reconciliation's on the bank , as well as liaising with internal stakeholders and ensuring communication is clear within the group in regard to the finances of the branch.

Skills Required
  • To have strong experience and ability on Excel as in this role you will be using this software regularly.
  • To be confident and charismatic, in this role you will be interacting with various stakeholders of varying seniority.
  • To be experienced in covering aspects of both the purchase and sales ledger, and to be confident in completing duties such as liaising with senior members of the team.
  • To have a thorough understanding of accounting principles, and to either have a number of years of experience or an accountancy qualification such as AAT Level 4.
