Mechanical Service Engineer- Pumps/Hydraulics

Mechanical focused Service Engineer needed to join a growing business with a great reputation.
You will support in the Installation and maintenance of large pumping equipment. The ideal candidate for this role will have some experience working within a service role and have a can-do, team spirited attitude.
Day to day duties.
- Working on site usually within the midlands
- Installing and maintaining plant machinery, which will include Pumps, valves, hoses and more.
- Attending breakdowns and repairing as required
- Ensure work is completed to a high standard
- Fault finding and diagnosis
- Looking after tools and equipment, including your van
- Ensuring lifting equipment is tested and in date
- Responsible for the safety documentation
- Completing comprehensive reports
Key skills for the Service Engineer position includes
- Time served engineer
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers
- Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service
- Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion
