Your new roleIn your new role as a Senior Accounts Receivable, you will manage the daily activities of the team. You will also manage collections and following up of outstanding payments of key accounts, ensuring the timely resolution of any outstanding balances. You will be responsible for motivating and supporting the team to encourage success and positivity. There also could be opportunities to deputise for the AP/AR Manager when required.Key Responsibilities:

  • You will have ownership and maintenance of a variety of key account customers
  • Produce and maintain reconciliations of key accounts
  • You will support the AP/AR Manager with on-boarding of new customers.
  • Conduct a weekly review and escalation of all aged debt problems to AP/AR Manager
  • Weekly debt reviews
  • You will be responsible for continuously reviewing credit limits.
  • Support the AP/AR Manager in underwriting to minimise bad debts
  • Own, review and circulate problem account daily
  • Produce the orders on hold report daily
  • Support and motivate the team
  • Contribute the essential information to adhere to the strategic goals of the company
  • Ad Hoc duties as and when required

What you'll need to succeed

  • Previous experience in a senior position, where you have experience of leading and motivating a team
  • Experience of and are competent at completing account reconciliations on Excel
  • Good understanding of an AR function
  • Self-starter, motivated with an ability to multi task
