Madisons Recruitment are recruiting for an Electrical Project Manager to start with a client of ours based in Stoke as soon as possible. 

The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, excellent time management abilities, and a solid understanding of electrical engineering principles. This role requires effective communication with clients, contractors, and team members to ensure that projects are delivered on time and within scope.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage multiple electrical projects simultaneously, ensuring adherence to project timelines and specifications.
  • Develop project plans, including scope, schedule, and budget estimates.
  • Coordinate with engineers, architects, and contractors to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Oversee coordination and delivery of project plant and equipment
  • Ensure adequate materials are always available to complete the project.
  • Ensure construction and commissioning programmes are in place for the job and implement the commission plan on site.
  • Manage project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and progress reports.
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and address any issues that arise.
  • Prepare and present project updates to stakeholders, ensuring transparency throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards in all aspects of the project.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an Electrical Project Manager or similar role in the construction or engineering industry.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems and engineering principles.
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
  • Exceptional communication skills for liaising with clients and team members.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Relevant degree or certification in Electrical Engineering or a related field is preferred.
