Madisons Recruitment are recruiting for an Electrical Project Manager to start with a client of ours based in Stoke as soon as possible.
The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, excellent time management abilities, and a solid understanding of electrical engineering principles. This role requires effective communication with clients, contractors, and team members to ensure that projects are delivered on time and within scope.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage multiple electrical projects simultaneously, ensuring adherence to project timelines and specifications.
- Develop project plans, including scope, schedule, and budget estimates.
- Coordinate with engineers, architects, and contractors to ensure seamless project execution.
- Oversee coordination and delivery of project plant and equipment
- Ensure adequate materials are always available to complete the project.
- Ensure construction and commissioning programmes are in place for the job and implement the commission plan on site.
- Manage project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and progress reports.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and address any issues that arise.
- Prepare and present project updates to stakeholders, ensuring transparency throughout the project lifecycle.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards in all aspects of the project.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Electrical Project Manager or similar role in the construction or engineering industry.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems and engineering principles.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Exceptional communication skills for liaising with clients and team members.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Relevant degree or certification in Electrical Engineering or a related field is preferred.
