We are seeking a dedicated and hard working Groundworker to join our clients team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for various tasks related to groundwork, ensuring that projects are completed efficiently and to the highest of standards. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
Working hours are Monday to Thursday 7.30am - 5pm, Friday 7.30am - 12.30pm. This position is a permanent role and therefore would be subject to a successful interview with the client.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Carry out groundwork tasks such as excavation and site preparation.
- Working with tools safely and effectively.
- Maintain a clean and organised worksite, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects.
- Report and issues or concerns to the site supervisor promptly.
Desired Experience:
- Previous experience in groundwork or a related field is preferred but not essential.
- Familiarity with operating construction machinery is advantageous.
- Own transport required due to the site location.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to follow instructions accurately.
- A commitment to safety practices and procedures on site.
