Credit Controller

Join our family-run business as a Credit Controller! We're a friendly bunch, and you'll fit right in if you're keen on keeping finances in check and ensuring everything ticks along smoothly.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Chasing down overdue invoices like a pro and keeping our cash flow healthy.
- Handling weekly Direct Debit collections using our trusty tools, Sage 50 and BACS Active.
- Keeping tabs on the daily bank movements and making sure everything adds up.
- Getting orders out the door by managing releases on our internal software.
- Running credit checks, setting up new customers, and making sure we're covered with credit insurance.
- Wrapping up the month with reports and statements, and keeping our customer accounts in tip-top shape.
- Plus, you'll handle some general admin to keep things running smoothly.
We're Looking For Someone Who:
- Has a knack for numbers and at least a year's experience with sales ledgers or accounts receivable.
- Is a wizard with Sage 50 and doesn't mind diving into new systems.
- Can chat up customers to maintain great relationships and ensure timely payments.
- Loves to work independently but can also play nice in the team.
- Ideally has a higher education diploma in something relevant, but it's not a deal-breaker.
