Clinical Operations Manager required to lead a small but growing portfolio of nursing and residential care homes located across the West Midlands and North of England.

As the Clinical Operations Manager, you will support the care homes and teams and will play a pivotal role in ensuring that all residents receive the best possible care. You will be responsible for overseeing the clinical standards, supporting care home managers, and implementing quality improvement initiatives across multiple sites. You will work closely with Directors and external stakeholders to promote best practices and regulatory compliance.

Due to continued development they are seeking a dedicated Clinical Operations Managerto join the senior leadership team to oversee clinical practices and improve operational efficiency across their homes in the North/West Midlands region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide clinical leadership and support to care home managers and nursing teams to ensure high-quality, person-centred care.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor quality assurance frameworks, ensuring compliance with CQC and company standards.
  • Oversee clinical operations, including staffing, budgets, and resource management to maintain efficient and effective services.
  • Lead and support clinical staff training and development, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.
  • Champion best practices in elderly care and engage with residents and families to ensure needs are met with dignity and respect.
  • Identify, monitor, and manage risks to ensure a safe environment for residents and staff, while maintaining regulatory compliance.
  • Liaise with healthcare partners, regulatory bodies, and community stakeholders to ensure high standards of care and to promote our services in the community.

Requirements:

  • Registered Nurse Qualification (NMC PIN) essential.
  • Proven experience in a clinical leadership or operational management role, within elderly care or nursing homes.
  • Strong knowledge of CQC standards, health and safety regulations, and clinical governance.
  • Excellent leadership skills with a commitment to coaching and developing staff.
  • Strong organisational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities across locations.
  • A compassionate, resident-focused approach and the ability to foster positive relationships with residents, families, and staff.
