The position is for a Field Engineer specializing in EV Charging with a leading manufacturer in the industry.
Candidates are not required to have prior experience in EV charging, as full training will be provided, but must possess a valid ECS Gold Card.
Key responsibilities include installation and commissioning of EV charging equipment while ensuring compliance with electrical regulations.
The role requires flexibility in travel across various locations in the South of the UK and previous experience in commercial and domestic electrical environments is preferred.
The salary for this position is competitive, and candidates should ideally have some experience in electrical installation or maintenance.

Field Engineer (EV Charging).

We are looking for a Electrical Field Engineerto join a world leading manufacturer of EV Charging Equipment. The role will involve joining the fast-growing team working in the various locations- prior experience in EV charging is not necessary for this role as full training will be provided, although suitable candidates must have an ECS Gold Card.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out installation activity across your regionensuring compliance to electrical regulation BS 7671 -current edition IET Wiring Regulations

Carry out installation checks for sub-contractor installations, producing snagging reports and communicating directly with client, OEMs and contractors.
Carry out commissioning related activity across the Southof theUK, producing the required commissioning paperwork and communicating directly with client, OEMs and contractors.

Essential Experience

Electrically qualifiedwith a valid ECS Gold Card
Previous experience working in commercial and domestic environments
Flexible on travel across the advertisedregion

Desirable Experience

Experienced with electrical installation, maintenance and service
Experience with EV Charging equipment
