Are you a skilled Production Operative with experience within the manufacturing industry? Look no further! Our client is seeking a vibrant and enthusiastic individual to join their team as a Production Operative.

At our client's manufacturing facility, you will play a vital role in the production process. Your main responsibilities will include carrying out production tasks, ensuring efficient operation of machinery, and maintaining a high standard of quality control. This is a fantastic opportunity to showcase your skills and contribute to a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

This is a temporary ongoing role initially.

Full time hours are Monday-Thursday 6:00AM- 2:00PM and Friday 6:00AM-1:00PM

Rate of pay from 11.44PH.

Responsibilities Related to the Job:

  • Carry out the processes and procedures as documented in the works instructions and as directed by the Plant Manager and Production Supervisor.
  • Ensure that the product is manufactured in accordance with the work instructions and process specifications.
  • Ensure the product is manufactured to the due date and in accordance with the production schedule.
  • Ensure all paperwork is completed accurately at the start and end of each shift
  • Ensure the equipment and area is cleaned to a high standard at the end of the shift.
  • Ensure the necessary PPE is being always worn and ensure PPE is being maintained and treated appropriately.
  • Replace / report any missing or damaged PPE.
  • Report all near misses and accidents to Production Supervisor / Plant Manager.
  • Ensure that any health and safety issues that cannot be resolved are reported promptly to the Production Supervisor, Plant Manager, or EHS Manager.

Essential skills and qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a similar production role
  • Sound knowledge of manufacturing processes and assembly
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to follow instructions
