AR Manager

Your new roleIn your new role, you will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end billing process, ensuring accurate and timely invoicing, managing key customer accounts, and handling any contract related issues. This role requires a strong understanding of invoicing systems, financial regulations, contracts and customer service skills to ensure smooth and efficient invoicing operations.

• You will be responsible for invoicing process management, including overseeing your team in distributing customer invoices and completing account reconciliations, ensuring regulatory requirements, monitoring accuracy, deadlines and targets are met.
• You will be responsible for overseeing credit control and cash management - reviewing aged debt, cash allocations, resolving discrepancies.
• You will be responsible for customer account management - updating information, handling queries, complaints and issues and setting up new contracts.
• You will be responsible for financial reporting - preparing and analysing invoice reports, presenting metrics and KPIs and areas for improvement.
• You will identify opportunities for system and process improvement.
• You will support with internal and external audit processes.
• You will supervise and mentor the team as well as provide support and training.

What you'll need to succeed

• Qualified by experience or AAT
• Proven experience in a similar role previously
• Experience of working in AR
• Strong working use of Excel
• Experience with billing software and financial CRM systems (e.g. Xero, SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks)
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
