One of the UK's leading national children’s charities are seeking a permanent full-time HR Administrator to join their dedicated, experienced and growing team in Newcastle under Lyme. A full job specification will be sent to you on application.About the roleThe ideal person for the role of HR Administrator requires a highly motivated, efficient and organised person who enjoys working as part of a team, whilst also being comfortable working independently. As HR Administrator you will:

  • Support the HR Team with all employment-related matters
  • Ensure the Charity and its people are operating within the confines of all relevant legislation
  • Provide an effective and efficient HR Service across all Charity Departments
  • Assisting with recruitment, fleet management, payroll, pension and benefits

Responsibilities include:

  • Process new starters and leavers
  • Create new starter packs including offer letters, contract of employment, etc
  • Conduct pre-employment checks including references, DBS and right to work
  • Assist with disciplinary and grievance processes 
  • Maintain accurate sickness and absence records
  • Assist with payroll preparation and benefits management
  • Chase, obtain and log all HR documentation, including induction paperwork, appraisals, self-certifications, training certificates, etc
  • Arrange and facilitate induction for all new employees and ensure a smooth on-boarding process
  • Assist with recruitment across all departments, placing adverts, tracking applicants, arranging interviews, etc
