Job Role: Qualified MFL Teacher (QTS) for a Secondary School in Stoke-on-TrentLocation: Stoke-on-Trent, StaffordshirePosition: Full-TimeStart Date: ASAPAspire People are currently recruiting a Qualified MFL Teacher (QTS) for a well-established secondary school in Stoke-on-Trent. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate and dedicated teacher to inspire students through the study of Modern Foreign Languages.Key Responsibilities:Deliver high-quality MFL lessons to secondary school students, covering French, Spanish, or both (depending on the candidate's expertise).Teach MFL at Key Stage 3 and 4, ensuring lessons are engaging, effective, and aligned with the national curriculum.Assess student progress through a range of formative and summative assessments, providing feedback to guide improvement.Create an inclusive and motivating classroom environment that encourages language learning.Contribute to the development of the MFL department and support extra-curricular activities such as language clubs or trips.Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and improve teaching outcomes across the school.Essential Requirements:Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.A degree in Modern Foreign Languages or a relevant subject.Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and assessment methods for MFL.Passion for languages and a commitment to fostering a love of learning.Excellent communication and organisational skills.Ability to manage classroom behaviour effectively and encourage a positive learning atmosphere.Experience teaching MFL at Key Stage 3 and 4 is desirable, but not essential.Desirable:Fluency in French and/or Spanish.Experience teaching GCSE MFL.Proactive and flexible teaching approach.Why Aspire People?Ongoing professional development and support from a dedicated consultant throughout your placement.Competitive salary and benefits.A collaborative and supportive work environment where your contributions are valued.Access to exclusive teaching roles across the area and a broad network of schools.How to Apply:If you are a motivated, creative, and qualified MFL teacher looking to make a difference, we'd love to hear from you!
