Your new companyA large national business is looking for an experienced HR Advisor to join their well-established and friendly HR team. Your new role

  • Working to ensure the provision of a high-quality People service to all stakeholders at the site.
  • Supporting the People Manager and the wider team by delivering the site people plan.
  • Developing effective relationships with and supporting the management team with ER casework, providing generalist support and advice, ensuring all company policies and procedures are adhered to.
  • Minute take and provide first line ER advice to management in meetings, such as disciplinaries, investigations, grievances, suspension cases etc.
  • Absence management
  • Supporting large-scale change projects and maintaining excellent relationships with the on-site employee forum.
  • Playing an active role in absence control and retention, ensuring contractual KPIs are achieved and maintained.
  • Proactively facilitate and champion employee engagement, Diversity & Inclusion and communications initiatives across the site.
  • Working collaboratively with, jointly line managing and developing a small team of People Assistants.
  • Responsibility for producing and reporting key people data and metrics to senior and customer stakeholders
  • Supporting the Site People Manager to ensure relevant management training is identified, sourced and delivered, promoting a culture of learning and development across the site.
