Pallet Network Manager - £34k - £38k

A snapshot of your typical day-to-day responsibilities. Youll be

  • Coordinating and managing the operations of the pallet network part of the business to ensure efficient freight movement.
  • Developing and maintaining strategic relationships with the hubs, and depots within the network.
  • Monitoring performance metrics to ensure service levels are met or exceeded
  • Ensuring cover is provided in all segments of the department including, driver, vehicle and the office team
  • Resolving customer/depot/driver queries/delivery issues
  • Overseeing the operation to ensure that all drivers comply with administrative policies and procedures, safety rules, and regulations
  • Using various platforms and software to record and recall information
  • Quickly and efficiently solving problems as they arise
  • Producing and monitoring KPI's to manage the team and operation

  • Experienced in the complexities of managing a team specifically as part of a Pallet Network
  • Able to work under your own initiative and solve day to day operational challenges
  • Use to planning vehicles to achieve
  • Proactive in your approach to managing and dealing with challenges
  • An excellent communicator, with great telephone skills and the ability to sympathise with customers
  • Computer literate with strong knowledge of MS Office
  • Diligent and have a high attention to detail
  • A quick learner who can make changes as and when required
