Who we are looking for

A Maintenance Engineer who will work as part of a team to maintain our residential properties on both a reactive and planned basis.

Being an integral part of the Facilities Services function, you will report directly to the Facilities Services Manager.

You will work as part of a small team to maintain our buildings to the highest standards all whilst meeting HSE building compliance legislation.

You will be required to work any five from seven days including weekends and support the departments on-call rota.

If successful, you will be required to provide proof of eligibility to work in the UK from your first day of employment.

Preferred skills and experience
  • Health and Safety experience including COSHH, Risk Assessment and Permits to Work.
  • Strong IT skills and experience of working with Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to prioritise tasks.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Possession of a current valid driving licence is essential.
Main Responsibilities
  • Carrying out a wide range of general maintenance tasks including joinery, painting, decorating, basic plumbing and electrical works to a high standard.
  • Completing reactive and pre-planned maintenance.
  • Following HSE building compliance legislation.
