Maintenance Engineer

Due to retirement, an opportunity has arisen for a maintenance engineer to join a nationwide FMCG company in Stoke-on-Trent.

This position would be perfect but not essential for an electrically bias maintenance engineer who has experience within a food manufacturing environment. My client boasts great attrition rates and are keen on training and developing their engineers skills.

Maintenance Engineer Benefits:

• Shift cover rates (+£85 per shift).

Maintenance Engineer Duties include:

• Continental shift (2 days 2 nights).
• Planned and reactive maintenance.
• Improving and maintaining production equipment.
• Updating CMMS.
• Fault diagnostic and repair.
• Continuous improvement projects.

Maintenance Engineer Requirements include:

• Recognised electrical qualifications.
• Electrical fault finding.
• Must be able to interpret electrical drawings.
• PLC knowledge (advantageous).
• Food / FMCG experience (advantageous).
• Willingness to learn new skills.
