Are you a skilled Maintenance Engineer with a passion for keeping operations running smoothly?

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Maintenance Engineer to join our team at a busy distribution centre in Stoke-on-Trent. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where your technical expertise will play a key role in ensuring the efficiency and reliability of our systems.

About the Role:As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for:

  • Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance on conveyor systems and associated equipment.

  • Diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical faults to minimise downtime.

  • Performing routine inspections and ensuring equipment is operating safely and efficiently.

  • Collaborating with the operations team to identify and implement improvements to processes and systems.

  • Maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs.

What We're Looking For:

  • Proven experience in a maintenance engineering role, ideally within a distribution, manufacturing, or similar environment.

  • Strong mechanical skills with experience working on conveyor systems.

  • Basic electrical knowledge and the ability to troubleshoot electrical issues.

  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to maintaining high standards.

  • Relevant qualifications in engineering (e.g., NVQ, City & Guilds, or equivalent) are desirable.

  • A strong focus on health and safety practices.
