They are seeking a Mechanically biased Maintenance Engineer to join their team.

As a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of their manufacturing site. You will be responsible for maintaining and improving the performance of machinery. This role is pivotal in minimising downtime and ensuring that production lines run efficiently.

This role will be working on a rotating 4 on 4 off days and nights pattern.

Key Responsibilities:

* Conduct routine maintenance and inspections on mechanical systems and equipment.

* Diagnose and repair mechanical faults in a timely manner to minimise downtime.

* Implement preventative maintenance schedules to ensure the longevity of equipment.

* Collaborate with the engineering team to optimise production processes.

* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and industry standards.

* Keep accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment performance.

* Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.



Qualifications and Experience:

* NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Maintenance Engineering.

* Proven experience in a maintenance role within an FMCG or Manufacturing environment.

* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

* Strong communication and teamwork skills.

* Flexibility to work a 4 on 4 off shift pattern, including days and nights.
